Harpsidhe

The Harps

The harps used by Harpsidhe were hand-crafted by
Dan Speer of Argent Fox MusicThe 38-string levered floor harp featured in the Harpsidhe CD "Forest's Chrysalis" is the Argent Fox Lady Emily.  This is a very special harp, the first Lady Emily made.  The 24-string unlevered lap harp is the Argent Fox Lady Annabella, in cherry wood.  This is the harp heard on the first Harpsidhe CD, "In Faerie".  The 42-string cross-strung lap harp is the Argent Fox Brother Benjamine, in cherry wood.

UPDATE: A new harp has arrived, the Lady Tyger triple-strung harp (crafted, as always, by Dan Speer of Argent Fox Music). This triple-string is a new harp design by Argent Fox, placing a full set of strings on either side of the harp in double-strung formation, and adding the partial triple row centered inside. This harp will be quite the challenge to play, but the sound is so lovely, it must be done. A featured Harpsidhe original song using the Lady Tyger harp is in the future!
